Add this Christmas CD to your Collection!

Hello and Merry Christmas to everyone!

Every year, I like to add a CD to my Christmas collection. This year I heard a great Canadian CD on CBC a couple of weeks ago.

“A New Kind Of Light” is a Christmas album by three of Halifax’s finest singer-songwriters: Jill Barber, Rose Cousins, and Meaghan Smith. 100% of the proceeds of this album are going to food banks around the Maritimes.

Of course, I love Jill Barber and her wonderfully quirky voice on this great sounding CD! The disc has a folk/country flavour and includes some beautiful traditional arrangements as well as my new favorite version of Blue Christmas (after Elvis of course).
